I read this book while Dr. Pimental was my treating physician. I did everything he said to do. I was one of the few who had to work a bit harder but after 53 years of suffering I have been PAIN FREE for 18 months. This is particularly terrific because I was told by every other doctor I ever saw that it was because I was 'high strung'! The book is an easy read, and it works.

I just finished reading Dr. Pimentel's new book, 'A New IBS Solution,' and was very excited to learn of his new protocol and the new information he offers about the cause of IBS. It was not too overly technical and easy to understand for the non-doctor. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for relief from IBS or who has friends/family with this condition.

This well written and accessible book by Dr. Mark Pimentel is both informative and easy to understand. Dr. Pimentel's innovative and cutting edge approach to IBS gives hope to millions of people world-wide suffering with this miserable condition. I would highly recommend his book for those suffering with IBS and for those supporting friends and loved ones with IBS.

After reading Dr. Pimentel's new book, A New IBS Solution it is clear he is one of only a few Gastroenterologists who really understands this condition. Most IBS Sufferers have realized long ago that all there symptoms were note all being caused by 'Stress' ' or that it wasn't 'all in their head' According to Dr. Pimentel its all in your Small Intestines. Having an overgrowth of Bacteria is the 'root cause' for most IBS Cases. I found his book very easy to read, I liked that he discusses the benefits of supplements, diet,and the history of how IBS has been treated. I would recommend his book to anyone who has IBS or know's someone who does! Last year Dr. Barrry Marshall won the Nobel Prize in Medicine for his work showing the connection between bacteria and Peptic Uclers. Dr. Pimentel would get my vote in a minute!
