People should be aware of how much processed sugar has been added to everyday foods and how our bodies process it.

A while back we were told to cut fat in our diets to lose weight. However, once you read The New Sugar Busters! you will understand the science around how your body processes sugar (it's stored as fat in your body!) The New Sugar Busters! book describes how this occurs and how to eliminate those foods that are considered high-glycemic. By eating the lower glycemic foods, you will feel more full and your body can utilize the energy instead of storing it as fat. What does that mean? It means that you will lose weight without feeling hungry all of the time!

    Disappointing reprise

I bought this version because I lost my old hardback copy. This edition is not nearly as good because it lacks the 14-day meal plan and does not include simple recipes for low-sugar salad dressings.
