Hilarious

I laughed my ass off! It was a great book. There's really nothing more that needs to be said...

Unoriginal and dull

Wow I feel like I've read this whole book before. Very similar to Maryjanice Davidson's Undead and Unwed, except this book fell flat. It wasn't as funny and the plot was unsuspenseful and predictable. Read the Undead series or sookie stackhouse books instead!

    more from this reviewer

Smart girls won't read this series :(

I don't even know where to begin with my thoughts on this book other than to say I just did not care for it - at all :( The only reason that it was not thrown into my DNF pile is because I needed it to complete a reading challenge. Jane grated on my last nerve almost from the beginning. While I love to read a good humorous story with a ditzy heroine, this one just didn't do it for me. Jane was just so blase about everything and hardly showed any emotion until the end of the book when she finally told her parents she was a vampire. The plot of this story, for me, was like a bad country song - 'I got fired from my job, mistaken for a deer & was shot, turned into a vampire & then accused of murdering someone.' The only thing left out was her dog dying (which almost happened by the way, lol).
