Beautiful and moving

One of my favorite books of all time. I cried so hard at the end. Such an incredible love story. One you'll want to read again and again. Very moving. It gives me hope that I'll someday find the love of my life.

Overall, this was a pretty good book. It's a very light read and kept my attention; however, I was a little disappointed with the story line. Part of what I like about Sparks is his ability to make me ''feel'' like I'm there and his ability to pull at my heart every time. This book has a sweet story, but doesn't have the excitement that his books usually do.

I have had it with Nicholas Sparks.

I've read about five of his books, gotten into the plot and characters, and then am totally let down at the end. Has he ever written anything in which one of the main characters doesn't die?

Sparks fans wont like what I have to say.....

I absolutely hated everything about this book and do not understand how they found enough in it to make a movie out of it. It was a very short read and I didn't feel like I even knew the characters, therefore I couldn't get emotional when things got sad.

Not worth your dime or your time

The love and loss theme is really getting old! In the past Sparks had made it work, this time he failed. It was boring and predictable.

    Not my fav

I have read all of his books and I love him!! This is the last one I read and I am glad because I thought it was the worst and if I would have read it in the beginning I may have not continued reading his books. This book is OK and just OK. Read the others before this one if you can!

    Wait for the Paperback!

I eagerly bought this one - as I am a fan and an audiobook addict. Throughout the story, you wait and wait and wait for the ending, even though you know what it will be, and when it finally comes, it is a total let down. You keep hoping some twist in the plot will bring some life to the story, but it doesn't. The story could have been told on a half a cassette rather than 4 and I would have liked it better. Too many words describing too little. Better luck next time Mr. Sparks.
