He Loves Me—He Loves Me Not!

Isabelle is spunky, aggressive, and determined to do whatever it takes to keep her job as the best real estate agent at Paramount Realty--even if it means chasing Zach Taylor all over Catalina.  Zach has closed himself off from all emotion, and considers Isabelle nothing but a pesky nuisance. He’s not going to sell his house—no matter what.  It’s the only link he has left to connect him to his family, which is now gone.

What Zach doesn’t know is that Isabelle has never lost a sale—ever.  And so the cat and mouse games begin.  Zach runs—Isabelle follows . . . and, soon they realize that there is more at stake here than just the sale of a house.  House?  What house?

“Nights on Catalina” is a light, fun, on again/off again romantic tale.  It’s the type of book that is great to curl up with for a rainy day or a weekend at the beach.

    I Also Recommend:

    A Charming Contemporary Romance

Martin pens a charming contemporary romance with "Nights on Catalina." Isabelle O'Conner is determined to get Zach Taylor to sell his property on Catalina Island. When Zach says "no" with no explanation, Isabelle doesn't give up. What will she do when she discovers Zach's reasons not to sell? Will her head or heart rule her decision to give a love a chance? Martin's writing is sharp as she plunks the reader down on Catalina Island alongside Isabelle. The dialogue is witty with Isabelle and Zach never giving ground. The best part of this story was the rich characterization. Isabelle may start out solely focused on her goal, but as she gets to know Zach, she opens her heart up. Zach is pretty closed up, but as he lets Isabelle into his world, he allows his heart to breath again. If anything, I would have liked the author to have painted the romantic setting of Avalon a little more vividly, but the lack of it didn't take away from the story. The love scenes are tasteful and sensual. Overall, "Nights on Catalina" will sweep the reader off their feet.
