An invaluable resource for network security professionals
This book is authored by the creator of the program, NMAP, so who could be more authoratative on it's functionality. A detailed breakdown of the different settings not only shows you what each one does but how to use it effectively in various network scanning scenarios. Very well written and easy enough to understand for a first-time user, but thorough enough to please a hardened security veteran. The chapters are well organized and build very well on the previous ones. Fyodor's literary work is as impressive as the program on which it is based. Was this review helpful?
