    What a funny book!

I purchased this book for my four-year-old grandson for Christmas. The first time I read it to him, he laughed and laughed! He wanted me to read it again and again. The illustrations are wonderful. I am a retired teacher and I am always purchasing books for my grandson so I am thrilled with this book. It is a great addition to his home library!

    Highly recommended

Tedd Arnold has updated his classic story with illustrations using his now trademark " bug eye " technique. The illustrations are colorful, perfectlybsuited to the story, and endearing. This book is very popular in my school library and is a surefire winner!

Our 2 year old loves it!

We were so suprised when this book held the attention of our 2 year old. It's now on our short list of bedtime stories. The other great thing is that it's fun to read! Don't hesitate to get this one.

I recomend this book its very creative and its about a boy that likes to jump on the bed but his father doesent let him. He did not lisend to his father, then he jumped very high and broked the flore when he landed. its fantasy fiction because there is no way a bed coud broke the flore. I hope you read this ousome book.

    Listen to your parents

Walter does't listen to his dad about jumping on the bed and crashing down through the floors of his apartment building. Each floor has a story of its own and a surprise at the end

    A Dream- or not?

I cringed the first time I heard 'Three Little Monkey's Jumping on the Bed'- what mom doesn't? Tedd Arnold explores a different scary aspect of bedjumping, probably one that many children who live in old houses or buildings have thought about- What If The Floor Breaks?! In addition, he caters to the voyeur in children. Don't most children wonder what their neighbors do and what their homes are like? Mine do. The illustrations are charmingly blocky- like Lego people. The animals are cuddly. Everyone rhymes. The theme is very funny to little people- Imagine visiting all your neighbors through the floor! Walter is viewed in our household much as an actor is- my children have noticed that he is also Ollie in 'Ollie Forgot'. We like that continuity of players in our books. I know that children have to learn that dreams aren't reality; that 'what happens during the night' is not really something that happens. Interestingly, Tedd Arnold messes with young minds just a little by making them wonder what is reality and what is a dream.
