My favorite romance novel!

Something about this novel just compels me to read it again and again. The love story and the twists of the plot are not unexpected but they are delightful to read. I don't usually reread romance novels because I feel that the novelty wears off over time but this one has stuck by me.

I identify with the headstrong main character and I feel that her flaws are recognizably presented, as in the fact that she is by no means a "perfect" woman or character. I would definitely recommend this to any historical romance fan.

Good book, have read better

The way the book was written in the beginning kept my attention and then towards the end I couldn't wait for it to be over. It seems to have dragged on a little too long. Good characters, made you want to know more about them.
