I found this book on the New In Paperback table at my local store. Being a huge fan of the entire period, I bought it to read. I highly regret ever buying this book. The story is bland and doesn't entirely tread over much new ground, beyond trying to show Katherine as a victim of everyone. The worst part of the book, though, is the writing itself. The book was rife with spelling and grammar errors, some of which rendered sentences completely unreadable, and without any sense. The author misspells the name of her main character THREE separate ways in the book, multiple times for each way. She does the same with the last name of Lady Rochford, with three incorrect spellings, used multiple times.
I highly recommend that anyone looking to read on Katherine Howard find a different book to explore.
