More politics than memoir
I was anticipating much more of a memoir, but it was about 25% memoir and 75% theory and politics and history about consumerism, environmentalism, spending and saving, etc. Would be a good study for a college class, but not for casual reading. Also had difficulty relating to the author. Many of the things she gave up are not things I buy anyway. For example, I would not struggle to give up theater tickets and wine like she did.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
