A book that lives with you

I am not a fiction person, but this is the first fiction book that has held my attention in years! I read it in two evenings, not because I'm such a fast reader, but because of the plot and how it moves you along. And about 3/4 of the way into the book there is such an unanticipated twist that I just had to go on to see what would happen. As a married woman this book spoke a lot to me, and helped me to see things more from the man's point of view. It's not just a good story to read, it will speak to your heart. I definitely recommend it!

    Never Give Up

Thank you Bishop for an awesome book. An anointing to rekindle what has been lost in marriage. Just at the brink of giving up, then God sent some help. Thanks. I also recommend a book called 'Speak to the Demons' by Pastor Gerald T. Dolphus. It's not spiritual warfare, it's talking about the issues of the mind, which helped me to get myself together.

    I Also Recommend:

    The Ties that Bind Us

This book centers around a couple who are married and begin their life as a fairy tale. They have dreams and hopes for a future that would create a lifestyle built on hard work and sacrafice.

One thing was missing in this marriage. They were given vows to take by their minister to have three connections to their marriage. They needed to commit to each other making two and the third commitment would be to God. These three strands would hold their life together during the tough times.

The tough times did come economically and their commitment to their marriage. Jobs and stress came between a couple who loved each other deeply. They were pulled apart by personal values and opinions on how life should be lived.

It was their recommitment to their faith in God and their marriage to one another that brought them back together. This story is about all of us. It is a reminder how the depths of our commitment we make unconditionally before God and each other is filled with enough love to last lifetime

This was my first TD Jakes fiction and I love it! Can't wait to read more.

This book immediately sucked me in. It is so easy to relate to the characters and events. If these things haven't happened to you, they've happened to someone you know. I was blessed by the stories and lessons. The reading was fast and I read it cover to cover in one sitting, but was extremely sad when it was over.
