November Blues

November Blues by Sharon Draper was a very good book that was relatable in so many ways. Many teens and young adults can relate to this book because it includes love, grief, stereotypes, and friendship. The situations in the book happen every day in real life so it made the book easier to read.
The main focus of the book is on a teenage girl named November. She had been going out with a boy named Josh for two years. Josh died in a club initiation gone wrong, which completely crushed November. A few weeks after his death, November found out she was pregnant with his baby. The story also discusses her friends, Jericho and Olivia. Jericho was Josh's cousin and after learning of his death, quit his passion. the trumpet. Olivia was a smart girl that was rarely noticed but was very caring.
They undergo peer pressure and stereotypes, along with pressure from parents, bullying, and inner conflicts. All of these things make the book easier and more fun to read. This book was a great read and made me realize a lot of things. I would recommend this book to everyone.

A good book

This is a good story that's sad and happy and shows the hardships both of the main charectors go through. It took me awhile to get used to the dialog... so if you're one of those people who hates to read dialog that's written in slang, I wouldn't read this. It was exciting, when I finally reached the climax, I couldn't put it down!!

this boook is so captivating. it makes you want to just keep reading. i would recommend this book to any teen girls. trust me, its one of the best books ive read.

It is UNFORGETTABLE

I just got this book today at the easton barnes and noble and i'm already on chapter 11.i recomend this book to any age because your never too young to learn about sex.i'm 11 years old and i know the basics.now and days kids my age are having sex.so parents,don't be afraid to tell your kid anything sex realted because this book teaches you a life lesson.i could never put the book dawn.Sharon draper is comming to my school and i want her to sign my copy of november blues and darkness before dawn...

I Love it!!!

this book was really good but you have to read the first one to understand it all. I really liked it and cant wait to get the third book that just came out. It is called just another hero but Read This One FIRST!!!

You must read this book, it's unforgettable.

Basically this book is about a 16 old girl, November getting pregnant by Josh Prescott. This changed November's life for ever because she loose Josh he dieds in a tragic event and now she have to take care of the child on her own. Things happens to her during her labor, but there is people there to help her. This book is also about Jericho Josh's cousin. They were like brothers, since Josh dieds Jericho lifes turns to a before and after picture. And is basically dealing with there depressing and they change. I really recommend this book to you to read it, it will change your mind about things, once you though they were good.

this is a good story of two highschool students that are together.it shows the harship of the two main characters and what they go through.is a sad story becouse one of the main characters dies iwould recomend this book to people becouse this story will touch peoples hearts.yes i would read more books of this author becouse this books are awesome.

well i have been reading this book and i actually like it.i haven't liked any other books that i have read.it is sad that november is pregant and her boyfriend died.and then the prescotts try to adopt the baby from her and she doesn't want that to happen.
