    A reviewer

I purchased this book because I was nervous about being able to continue breastfeeding and balancing a full time job. It is written in a very easy to read manner and discusses many of the true feelings or fears that women have as they return to work. She talks about going back to work as having much in common with the first weeks of motherhood in that it is like a second postpartum period. She discusses the importance of taking care of yourself in order to meet the needs of your baby and gives detailed information about how and when to pump, how to store, and challenges that one might face when becoming a full time working mother.

    Great book for working moms

I bought this book before returning to work with my third baby. He was the first of my sons I exclusively breastfed. I think this book shows encouragement, and makes you feel confident you can continue even though you have to work. It was an easy read and made me feel better about pumping and returning to work full time. I think I went back (to work) with a more positive attitude. I would recommend it to anyone who is returning to work that wants to continue nursing.

    Terrific Step-by-Step Guidelines

Nursing Mother, Working Mother does a fantastic job focusing on incorporating breastfeeding into your working life and time away from your baby. If anyone is pregnant and planning on breastfeeding when returning to work, this book explains everything from figuring out where to pump at your workplace to how you pump and how often you should pump. It also addresses the emotional aspects of separating from your baby. A must for the Nursing Mother, Working Mother.
