Like I've said, this series has been like visiting the world of Lisa Frank--turned upside down and violent! In the third and final installment of the beloved faerie trilogy known as Shimmer, secrets are revealed, questions are answered, and as usual in the world of Faery--or, at least in Kim's world--Nothing and no one are who they seem. If I get into specifics on it, the book will be spoiled. But I can say these things: I loved the fact that there is constant action, the pacing was exceptionally executed, and we get more death....Jensen is truly human in this volume...yeah, she cries, and I never thought she would do that...she just seemed too strong to cry from her heart. She is willing to do whatever it takes to save those she loves and it turns out that she has hidden feelings for someone I would've never suspected. This series was my first about the world of faerie, and I hate faeries as much as I hate AHEM...sparkly vamps, but that's for another day. I look forward to reading Tether, Miss Spencer. 5/5 Stars cause I can't give it ten. Well worth the wait.

Worst series I have ever read.

The books were way to short, really the 3 books could have been just 1. Its not well written and very very childish with way to much cursing for a young teen book. Hands down not even worth the lil money.

    Better than books 1 & 2

This last book (#3) was far better than the preceeding books in this series, amen! However, still exhibiting "story character" flaws, I was able to maintain a sence of space and time within this book, unlike the first two. Good reads, just slightly frustrating, and way too short. I think the author missed a golden oportunity. This could have easily been a series with at least six to eight 400 page books. If only the time were taken to be more comprehensive. Too bad :(
