This is the second book in the Ascension Series. I read book one

This is the second book in the Ascension Series. I read book one and was anxiously looking forward to reading this one, and I was not disappointed. I really enjoy how the two main characters from her previous series have been brought together in this new series to fight evil, they work so well together. This story is definitely full of non-stop action, and it will have you feeling many emotions as you are reading it.

Seth Wilder comes across a werewolf that he thinks has been poisoned by silver. But he is not prepared when he learns that the woman has not been poisoned but possessed. He only knows of one person who can help them, so he and Rylie, the werewolf Alpha, travel in search of Elise Kavanagh, the strongest exorcist in America to help them.

Elise and Anthony are trying to find whoever is responsible for opening all the portals to allow the demons to invade Earth. She is also hiding from a lot of people who want to find her because not all of them are searching her out for help. When Seth and Rylie finally find her, she agrees to exorcise the werewolf, but only after they help her stop whoever is trying to bring Hell on Earth. They never expected to find what exorcising the werewolf reveals to them. Will the revelation help them fight the demons and close the portals? Is there anything that can save the world from a takeover from Hell?

I received an e-copy of this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review.

    I like it a lot

I'm enthralled by this series. Ms Reine has found a perfect balance of Fantasy and personal pathos to keep even the most jaded readers entertained. I'm the type of reader that enjoys finding errors in the writing such as redundancies, information conflicts etc. Ms Reine has a few but we all do.It takes a lot of perusal to find any errors in her writing. I recommend it highly to everyone.
