A lovely and touching book!
I love this book, even though it does tend to make me cry. The photographs are gorgeous, and the stories of each dog are extremely touching. I've given several copies as gifts to fellow dog lovers, and they have been well-received. So nice to see a book dedicated to the senior dogs, as they often don't get as much attention as cute little puppies. But these sweet old grey muzzles and clouded eyes are endearing to those of us who love our old dogs, and it's great to have them celebrated in such a fitting manner.

Loved it - highly recommend it!
Looking for gift ideas, I saw this book and sat down at my local Barnes & Noble to glance through it. Within 3 minutes of flipping through the pages, I was smiling, laughing and then weeping as my mind combined the stories within with some memories of my own. Within 15 minutes, I bought a copy to take home, ordered a copy for my boss and another for my sister. Having now read the book from cover to cover, I can recommend this book whole heartedly. The images and the stories behind them will prove wonderfully familiar to anyone who has ever loved a dog and will bring a special warmth your heart just as those old dogs we've loved have done.

Dog Lovers
Great book for a person in your life that either has an older dog, or for someone like me that has lost their best friend.

The Very Best
Got one as a gift, bought 18 more copies for Christmas presents. It's just the best dog book ever. Insanely uplifting, sweet and incredibly funny (although the last entry will tear your heart out). The eyes of these grand ladies and gentlemen say it all.

What is not to love about these amazing pictures of our best friends - it can be sad to those of us who have or had an aging dog. I love this.

Heartwarming
I first saw this book at my Dentist's office and knew I had to have it. It's a great book for anyone who has loved a dog thru it's entire life span. Sometimes this leaves us with some hard and painful choices. This is a precious book where people describe their own "older" dogs.

I absolutely loved it! Very poignant and touching, a must read for anyone who has an older dog or just remembers loving an older dog. Charming!
