    What a poor communist

I didn't enjoy the book. what the heck was up with eating Dolphin? I started to cringe, Dolphins are one of the most beutiful and gracious creatures. I don't care if he was hungry, if he fell in the water--who do you think would save him? THE DOLPHIN. I also would have enjoyed if Hemmingway made the shark have a nice and juicy meal--being it Santiago.

The Old Man and the Sea

As I started reading the book, for a school assignment, I did not want to finish it or felt the least bit interested in it. However, as my English teacher explained its meaning to the class I changed my mind. For any reader who enjoys a good allegory 'The Old Man and the Sea' is the book for him.

The Old Man and the Sea

I read the book and saw the movie and then I read the Cliffs Notes. What a fantastic story. Very deep meaning to this book. I wish I could get the Cliffs Notes on-line as well. Can you tell me a web site where I might find this info. Thanks.
