    Roadmap to success!

    In the past marketing has been subject to certain rules that no longer seem to apply. Timothy Pearson's qualifications make him the perfect person to make this call, and in The Old Rules of Marketing Are Dead, he does just this. It is an effective new look at the role of marketing in the face of so much technological advancement, and avid use of social media. Timothy presents a unique look at what changes are needed most and how to go about accomplishing them. He uses brands that have stood the test of time as his examples, and show how they are the brands who not only know their customers well, but also know how to create an emotional connection with them. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, and plan to implement many of these ideas in my own business to build a strong, and long lasting relationship with my customers.

    A new way to look at marketing...MUST READ!

    The Old Rules of Marketing are Dead is a great place to begin reinventing your business. It holds information on every aspect of marketing, beginning with the old rules, and showing why they are no longer relevant. It goes on to explain 6 new rules for marketing which are as follows:
    -The Core Is Everything
    -You Have Nothing Without the Foundation
    - There Are Many Choices but Only One Customer
    -Do the Right Things for the Right Reasons
    -Infrastructure is More than Just Pipes
    -Lead and Others Will Follow
    These rules are the basis for Timothy Pearson's teachings, and within them are 23 principles that cover every aspect of creating a solid marketing plan that will define your brand, and ensure that it is prepared to face the challenges of the new global market. The principles found here are helpful, and they are presented in a very engaging style. Don't miss out on this opportunity to harness the tools that will help your company get ahead!

    Highly Recommended if you are in the marketing business.

    If you are in marketing, or business leadership, or even if you are an entrepreneur looking to improve your business, this book is one you will definitely want to read. It is a new approach to the old rules of marketing. Timothy takes the old rules, and carefully examines how changing them can not only reignite a brand, but can completely reinvent it so that customer loyalty is preserved, while still driving sales. By taking the steps described here, a brand can take its place among such American favorites as Coke, Kleenex, and Google. This new approach to marketing is bound to cause a stir, because so many will want to preserve the old rules. However, Timothy warns that reinvention is necessary both to distinguish your brand from the competition, as well as to become a presence in the new world of social media and instant information. His outlook on marketing involves viewing media as both an art, and a science, and his ideas are full of creativity and insight. This is the kind of book that needs to be read before it is too late to make the necessary changes.
