GOOD READ

I really liked this book. It is an easy-to-read mystery with a little humor thrown in. I am 22 and although the main character is 79, I felt like I was there beside him. This book is very well written with few gramatical errors and few dull moments. A must read!

I am finding this book to be just okay. Not boring enough for me to put it down, but certainly not that entertaining either. There doesn't seem to be much of a plot other than an elderly couple moves into an retirement complex and the husband is suspicious that something is not right in the Assisted Living and Care Center Wings. I am almost through with the book and I am just now at the point where I am mildly curious to see how it will end.  If you are looking for truly engrossing reading, this isn't it.

    Skip over

This represents one hour and 20 minutes of my life I will never get back. The characters were shallow to nonexistant. The plot was very predictable. Dont waste your time.

This is a verbal slapstick mystery. I felt sorry for every character in this poorly plotted book. The writer forced the humor like a back street comedian and the ending was like the last crust of bread in the bag...do you eat it or just throw it away. Jp

A real snooze. The book is way too long for the simple, only mildly interesting plot. The main character is a nice guy, but overly passive. I got bored with his retirement community life while he took ages to act on his suspicions of foul play. The ending twist became obvious well before the end, even though it was unbelievably far-fetched and bizarre.
