    Cute and funny

I am not a fan of Chick lit (similar concept to a chick flick), but if you're looking for a cute, light read then this book is a good choice. It was funny and enjoyable to read.

    Don't listen to the haters

I enjoyed the Bridget Jones movie, but never read the books so I can't compare it to the author's other titles. This book, however, is a smart and fun read. The story line is engaging and, at times, quite thrilling. Yes, it is a more complicated plot than Bridget Jones, but I don't think the intention was to make this chick lit lite. It's a good read--don't pass it up.

    As funny as ever

Fielding is a brilliant writer with a clean style and a great sense of humor. Bridget Jones was great, but with Olivia Joules, Fielding tells a great story while also doing a wicked send-up of adventure-James Bond type adventures!

    Fun read

I really enjoy Helen Fielding's writing. I feel a sort of kinship with her main characters, as if she was using me as her model. Great, quick read...like the female Indiana Jones!

    Fantastic!

Olivia Joules and the Overactive Imagination was a great read-could hardly put it down. The plot was good, with chartacters that were easy to get into, with all the great twists a story like this needs, though a bit predicitbale at times. I found that I could easily relate to Olivia and I believe that is one of the best aspects of the book. Sitting down to enjoy this book is time well spent.

This book is not as good as Bridget Jones Diary however i would recommend it as a one time read. Olivia Joules incidents keep you flipping the pages.

    Helen Rules!

You will love reading Helen's books. It's great to look forward to each of her uniquely crafted sentences. If you don't laugh out loud while reading one of her books you are probably humor-impaired. If you love to read & laugh and be truly entertained, Helen Fielding is the author for you.
