    definitely enjoyable

Sorry some didn't find it satisfying enough. I loved it and stayed up til 4 a.m. reading it! Just recommended it at the library for gaming teens. Liked the multiple viewpoints, the mix of fantasy with business rivalry. A provocative ending. Will definitely add it to my Nook library as soon as next month's budgeted book allowance is available.

excellent read - nice merging of business/tech/fantasy!

Excellent read - nice handling of multiple perspectives from the conniving soulless business man to the wife of a devoted gamer. Interesting set up for the game as well - if it really existed, I might be more than a casual player!

    Not sci-fi

may contain spoilers: I was really disappointed in this book. The story was okay and the characters likable BUT and it's a big but. The book summary is totally misleading. this is not about a sentient AI game. It's about rival ex-partners and one trying to hack in and bring the others game company down. complete bs on the methods of hacking and crazy ideas about avatars of people in the company fighting hack attempts with their virtual identities online. Okay read but NOT in any way what the summary says it is.

    Gaming Inside and Out

Finding this book by pure accident and not having read anything else by the author, I was happy to find a great paced novel that brought a lot of different views of the "Omnitopia" MMORPG world. I loved the different view points from multiple characters, being in the game and also on the techinical side of running the game. The only draw backs to the book is that I would have liked more in depth scenes with the game itself, and how the various economies run, which is just only hinted at here. Knowing now that is the first book in a series gets me excited to hopefully see more of the game.
