OK, where do I even want to start. I was a wreck in this book. I was talking to it, sighing, hounding my friend for spoilers, and it was the scariest book for me so far. We also learn SO much in this book. It really made me see things much more clearly.

Perry is possessed in this book. Not only is she still being haunted by the ghost from Dex's past, but demons want to claim her. Seriously...this was kind of a mind f**k of a book. Poor Perry. The only person that believes her is Ada. If I haven't mentioned her before, Ada is Perry's teenage sister. She is one of my favorite characters in this series. In fact, one of my most favorite things about this book in particular is we see more of Ada. I really love the relationship she and Perry have. They are such opposites, but fiercely loyal to each other.

We also see the return of Maximus. Now, again, without revealing too much...I used to like Max. Now, not so much. He clearly has a hidden agenda in this book. Don't get me wrong, there were some pretty steamy moments with Max, but nothing can compare to Dex.

Speaking of Dex, we don't see Dex a whole lot in this book. However, when he does return, he knocked me off my feet. There were lots of swoony sighs coming from me when he came to help Perry. I mean seriously. I fell in love with him even more.

Despite the fact that I wanted to throw my kindle down when I was done, this was definitely my favorite book in the series so far. I'm telling you now...even if you don't like horror, you need to read this book. I think fans of paranormal romances would love this series. Please, please, please check it out.

This whole series is so amazing! This book, in particualr, I could not put down. Well, that's a lie because I couldn't put any books in this series down unless it was for a bathroom break. It just seems that whatever I wished to happen next, actually did. I don't know how many books have fallen short like that for me. I feel like I actually 'know' Perry and Dex as if they were my besties - more so, Perry, obviously. I hope you have twenty or more books lined up for this series, because Miss Karina, I am hooked more than a fish has ever been hooked to a line, only my line are your words. Words I cannot get enough of. Keep up the stellar work!

Scared the crap out of me!!! But i loved it just the same as the others.poor perry having to go thru everything she did and noone believed her but her sister. The monster under the bed made me think twice before going to bed!!! I cant wait to read the books that come after!! Still did not like max in this book maybe he will redeem himsekf but i will always be team Dex and Perry!

Book 5 amazing

Once again, AMAZING! Very scary in parts, poor Perry. Loved the fact that the sister steps up and plays a huge part towards the end. If you call it an end. Hmmmmmi Really need book six now. I need to know what happens! This whiole series moved up to my number one read for the summer! Justa heads up for this book, Dex doesn't show up till the last event in this book. I kinda missed him but he was a dick and she needed to stew! I still love him tho!

Holy hell what kind of ending is that! Pure. Torture. Emotions at an all time high, we are left with one hell of a cliffhanger. I always itch for the next book in this series but now I'm obnoxiously whining for it.
This book took a slightly different turn from the rest. We follow Perry, while she deals with one of the toughest hands she's been dealt so far, as well as fighting off a demon possession. We really get to see Ada shine in this one, and watch her loyalty get tested. Many characters show their true colors, including our favorite Dex, who becomes her knight in rusty armor regardless of the hearbreak he dealt us in the last one.
I don't know where the next one is headed. Even going into book 6 Karina still has us by the collar and drooling for her next story and glimpse into the life of Perry & Dex.
If you haven't read this series, you are missing out!

AMAZING!!!!!

I love this series.. I got the first book free, I was like " it can't hurt" after reading it I was hooked...I finished all 5 books in a couple of weeks. The characters are great and easy to relate to, they draw you in.. Perry and Dex are wonderful.. This book was crazy, in a good way, the end had me screaming for more, literally.
I'm so happy that the 6th one is finally available..

I agree with all of the other ratings... This one creeped me out! It kept me on edge all day reading this!
I felt so bad for Perry in the end and can't wait to find out what happens next with her. I completely agreed with Ada with her opinions about Max from the moment he showed up and I ended up absolutely hating him in this book. I also cannot stand Perry's parents, she's 23 years old, she can make her own decisions. It was hard to see her struggle and persevere only to be seen as mental and to not be taken seriously, then to seemingly have her freedom taken away from her in the end (is what I'm guessing ultimately happened). My biggest complaint is how long it took for Dex to show up. Out of all people, he should have been the first person they called to help. And I wanted to see him and Perry work out their issues.
4 stars only because there wasn't enough Dex, and Perry's parents and Max annoyed the crap out of me throughout this book. It was almost painful to read their parts.

Ahhhh Dex need I say more!

Love this series Dex is absolutely swoon worthy!!! I cannot wait to read the rest of the series!
