Decent advice and definitions of romance types
However, the actual writing was pretty flat. It's also pretty clear that for all the changes to the romance format in the last twenty or thirty years, the gender stereotypes are still pretty much the same: the man is still the leader in the relationship, the woman is much more likely to be "feisty" than strong, and the characters are expected to be youngish, good looking, and either middle class or rich. Was this review helpful?
