    Enjoyable

This book was very enjoyable. It was a light read. It's perfect for when you need a break and need to unwind.

    Not worth the time...

Silly dialogue. It seems like a teenager tried to fantasize what a relationship might be like once you have a profession. Too much talk about getting heated, wanting one another, misunderstanding one another. Definitely not worth the money. Very dumbed down. The author needs to give the reader's more credit.

    Not impressed

I was excited about this book. Then I began reading and I didn't like Joe. His vocabulary was lacking any sincereity. He seemed too rough around the edges to mesh with the personality of Marlowe. But more was the way the book jumped around everywhere. I felt like one story started but never finished. The 'clues' were poor and the plot never climaxed. The ending was so boring I fell asleep with 4 pages. And come on, is it possible that Joe would have made nice with his enemy. The man whom he claimed ruined his life. Give me a break. I'm sorry I didn't read something else but glad I can warn others not to waste their time. I've heard some of the other books she's written were ok but I'll admit I'm a little hesitant to start another one of her books. I just did not like this book and I think it was poorly written. Like a bunch of fragmented sentences with no explanation. Yuck. Oh well on to better things.

    Not very good.

I read on average one book a week and this is the first time I found one that I did not like. I found one of the main characters, Joe, very unlikeable at first. The book did get better towards the end but overall it wasn't worth the time I spent reading it. The storyline is also very unbelieveable.
