As I have just been introduced into the realm of Nightwish, I must say that this CD has sealed the deal for my devotion. Not as heavy as some of Nightwish's previous realeases, but never the less, it is an outstanding acheivement! The songs are moving as well as compelling, like Creek Mary's Blood and Nemo. It seems that when you start from the beginning of this CD, the tracks are quite hard and heavy but then slowly begin to soften going down the line. As for me, my favorites are the first six on the CD, the rest are lovely, but are very calm and mellow. Nightwish is amazing!

    1st Nine Songs are Excellent

Once is the first Nightwish album I bought from this band. I am deeply impressed by the first nine songs. After the first nine, the songs start to lose musical power. It's not that that the last four songs are bad. It's just that the song "Ghost Love Score" and every song before it is the perfect blend of power and melody! That's my only criticism though. If the band cuts down their tracks to only keeping the best, all future albums will be top notch.

    Century Child II

If you like Nightwish,BUY THIS! It is very similar to Century Child . The writing and production work on this is more complex and detailed than the previous CD , but it is very much and extention of the bands previous works .The problem is that the entire disc comes off as one that had way too many people trying to get it perfect and in the process the CD lost some of the impact of it's predecessors .
