A great book to read to your children

I bought 'Once' to read to my two young children. The wonderful thing about this book is that each story has a different moral, and each of them is a valuable, positive lesson for all children to learn. The drawings are really, really cute and my children fell in love with each and every character. All in all just an absolutely delighful book that I highly recommend to any parent or grandparent.

A collection of stories for any age.

Fantastic, original, and wonderful. My three year old and five year old love the stories as much as my wife and I do. Overcoming adversity, tolerance of the differences in others, and unconditional love...lessons that need reinforcing always.

    Definatley a 'must have'

This is a great book. The stories are whimsical, amusing, but most of all, they are ideal for children to fall asleep too or sit and listen too on a lazy afternoon. The illustrations are really cute and obviously drawn with the stories in mind. I bought this book for my grandchildren, but on reading it first, went straight out and bought a second copy just for me. I was delighted. Grouch and Sparce will become a classic in their own right. I cried near the end with sorrow for little Sparce, and then cried with joy at the end at the lovely moral the story portrayed...what a clever author.
