The Founding of Jerusalem -- a Parable of Brotherly Love
This delightful and moving story draws on the opening of the 133rd psalm: ¿Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.¿ Two quarreling brothers appeal to King Solomon to resolve their dispute over their inheritance. In order to induce them to make peace with each other, the king tells them an old folk tale in which the mutual love of two brothers results in the founding of the city of Jerusalem. An important subtext is that all men and women are brethren in the eyes of the Lord God.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
