    Amazing!

I love love love this book! It was so touching so romantic and it had somewhat of a murder story which also made it thrilling and dramatic! This was the first historical romance novel I have ever read, but it was also one of the most amazing books I have ever read. I also read some of Tessa Dare's other books after I read this one and they were just as good as this one if not better! I really have to say Tessa Dare has written the most amazing books. You really get into each and every book she has written. They are all very touching and romantic. I really love how its set back to the 1800's. To me the setting of this book just makes it so much more romantic. If you want a book you cant put down once you start reading it, I highly recommend this book. You wont be sorry for buying it, and its also one you can read more than once and in my opinion it gets better every time you read it.

    Great book

I really enjoyed reading this book. The reason I gave this book four stars and not five is because of the female lead. It drove me crazy the way she kept putting her family before her husband. other than that it was a great read.

    Good but not great....

I have loved all of Tessa Dare's novels. They have been amazing. This one was the same for me until the end. There were several loose ends for me. I know that in her previous set she followed up each book with one of the characters, but this one wasn't smooth like those. For instance, Lily is with Amelia at the cottage but then she isn't mentioned again. The big mystery was "who killed Leo" but that wasn't even resolved. I finished this book scratching my head.
