    My Traveling Star

The version of &quot My Traveling Star&quot done here is even far more wonderful than the recording on October Road. I could listen to it on and on and over and over.

    Great album

A great album. That unique voice sounds as fresh and warm as in 1968. And the DVD really proves that JT is a sensitive and humorous artist.

    You've got a friend.

James Taylor has saved his best for last. Yes, there are other live works of his available, but this one represents the true "sound" of his concerts. Usually, most musicians speed up the tempo of their live work. Taylor seems to take a breath and let it out slowly. He does not appear in a hurry to finish up and get down the road. Each song is played like he is giving it his best. You must buy this cd and dvd set. It is the work of art you have been waiting for.

What a treasure you are, James

Some people have the ability to raise the level of joy when they enter the room. James Taylor is one of those people. You can feel his joy when he sings to his audience. The CD is great and the DVD that comes with it is even better.

    The Standards of our day

I love James Taylor. You may wonder why buy an album with so many familiar titles? Same reason you would buy a Frank Sinatra collection to enjoy how he treated the standards of his day through the years. This is a much better live album than the 1993 live collection -- much more intimate and soulful.

    Another greatest hits cd?

I love his music, but how many greatest hits albums/cds of the same music does an artist need to produce?
