Beautifully crafted book
Having read Ms. Glickman's first novel "Home in the Morning" and thoroughly loving it, I had been eagerly waiting for this book to come out. This book is a compelling read and I found it difficult to put down. I loved how the author wove the storyline through historical events that touched on my growing up experience. This was a very visual novel. Ms. Glickman's nuanced descriptions brought out the aura of the time. I felt that the story line contained compelling twists and turn to keep my interest and made me want to read more. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Ms. Glickman portrays sense of place in an elegant manner and has created another host of interesting off-beat characters.
Now I will be waiting for her third novel!!
