A real glimpse of SEAL Team life

In 'One Perfect Op' Chalker does an awesome job detailing what it is like to be a Navy SEAL. In this autobiographical account of his experiences as a SEAL, the reader really has the opportunity to better understand what it takes to make it through BUD/S and to be a member of a Team. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the details of his life as a SEAL- especially as he shared his experiences as a plankowner of Team 6 and as he detailed the missions and objectives of Red Cell. Someone close to me is a member of the SEAL community, so I very much appreciate the knowledge and understanding about the SEALS that I was able to obtain through this book. Chalker's writing style makes 'One Perfect Op' a fun and exciting read for just about anyone. If you're not a big fan of the SEALs already, it is likely that you will be after reading this book!

    A educational-action packed thriller.

This book is about Commander Master Chief Dennis Chalker and how he got up in ranks to be a navy seal. This book decribes where he went to be trained, from the Army to the Navy special traning facilities. You follow along what he did and where he went to be trained. You follow him through dangerous missions he was in. If you like action and you like adventure this book is for you. I liked this book because it describes alot about what he does and what he has to do.

    Liked it.

You can really tell he's holding back in the story telling. That has to suck, you have all these awesome things that people want to read about but for obvious reasons you can only flirt with the details the reader craves. Still a good book!
