One Ride by Chelsea Camaron Rating: 4 SOLID Stars! Summary:

    One Ride
    by Chelsea Camaron

    Rating: 4 SOLID Stars!

Delilah “Doll” Reklinger never imagined her life with anyone that

wasn’t a Hellion. She never imagined a Hellion would come along and

prove himself worthy enough to her father, Roundman, Hellions Club

President. Content in living in the bubble of safety the motorcycle

club family has always provided, Doll never thought that danger

    surrounded her.

Roundman has kept the Hellions contained for the last thirty years by

controlling the chaos surrounding their lifestyle. When the dangerous

side to their business comes knocking on his door, he realizes his

precious Doll isn’t safe. The Hellions code may be that women and

children are off limits in any altercation or dispute, but that doesn’t

mean their enemies follow that same moral compass.

His only child, now in danger from the association to him and his

club, Roundman makes a decision. He sends her away to a charter

club, in hopes that the trouble won’t follow.

One ride across the country. One simple ride. Talon “Tripp” Crews

has been ordered to take Doll on one ride away and to keep her safe.

She’s off limits, his head knows this, but his body can’t deny the

sparks between them. She’s feisty, fierce, and fearless. Constantly in

close confines together, can they deny the chemistry? Will they give

into the attraction between them? Can one ride turn lust into love?

    My Thoughts:

This is my first book by Chelsea Camaron and what a first it was! I love reading about sexy biker men and their MC’s, but through in a sassy, independent, sexy woman too and I am in heaven. I love reading about women who can take care of themselves and handle the men and their lives. Who doesn’t want to be that woman. A woman who knows what she wants in a man and refuses to settle for anything else.

That is how I feel about Delilah “Doll” Reklinger. She is all those things and more. She loves her father and his club, but she knows she is just as much a part of it as the men that surround her.

“I’ve never had ol’ lady aspirations. I’m a Hellion, with or without being tied to a brother. In this moment it;s not about being an ol’ lady; it’s about being one with your man, being one with the road, and being one with your bike. It’s about being one with the ride.”

Now to find that brother who can fight for her and prove she is everything to them. You see, she is the daughter of Roundman the president of the Club. She is OFF LIMITS. That is if you intend to stay alive. So, what ever man has balls enough to handle her and her father…….. That is HER man.

This story really begins at the Haywood Hellions annual BBQ. All the brothers, their families, and even the surrounding chapters are there. It is there that we meet Tripp.

Tripp is the president of the Piedmont chapter of the Hellions, located in Catawba, NC. He is in attendance along with his VP and best friend Rex. They are having a good time checking out the beautiful women when SHE walks into his life. He is instantly attracted to her…

“Life is not about the breaths you take, but the moment that take your breath away. This is one of those moments.”

That is until Roundman walks over and introduces her as his daughter and gives him a cold dose of reality. She is OFF LIMITS. Not that it really matters to him anyway. He isn’t looking for anything serious…or is he?

Not too long after the BBQ there is trouble brewing and Tripp is called in to help Roundman protect his daughter and her friend. So Tripp and Rex take the girls away on a ride….

The more they are together the harder it is for them to fight the attraction they have for one another. Even if they don’t want to admit said attraction. Doll is forced to ride on the back of his bike and as much as she wants to distance herself from him she can’t. Tripp has never felt so drawn to anyone in his life…. and of course when he does its to the one he can’t have. Even if he did have her once, that would be all he would take and she doesn’t deserve to be treated like that.

The RIDE has them both agonizing over thoughts and feelings they don’t want to admit lie just beneath the surface.

“Without thinking, I reach my left hand down and gently squeeze her thigh. Never before, have I felt the desire to connect with anyone. She relaxes further into me. Her left hand begins tracing circles over my heart.”

I love the connection and lack of connection between these two characters. Angst… Check!

I have so many more quotes I want to share with you, but I don’t want to give anything away. I am gonna leave you with this….

    “Doll, we gonna do this?”
