    A Great Live!!

This is the first Bon Jovi Live's album and it sounds very good! It has a Neil Young's cover, ''Keep on Rocking in the Free World'' and it's the best cover for this song I listened. My favorite song is ''Wanted Dead or Alive''. Richie Sambora plays a little beautiful intro in a 12 strings acoustic guitar. In some chorus, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora make a duet and the way they sing is wonderful! The whole album is good, but this song in special touches me emotionally. There are another version for ''One Wild Night'' and it's very funny and easy to listen. There are songs as ''Runaway'' and ''In and Out of Love'', those were recorded in 1985 and it's very interesting to see how were the band, how they played and how they sang 17 years ago. The whole album is very good but I think it could be a double CD, 'cause the band has great songs as ''Hey God'', ''These Days'', ''Dry County'', etc; those could be on this CD. I (and I think many Bon Jovi fans too) hope someday Bon Jovi make a Live Album with these songs. It could be cool! This album is a good way to see how is Bon Jovi on the stage, the energy changed between the band and the assistance. It's a magical album and you if you close your eyes, you will feel like you are on the stage with them! It's amazing!

    AMAZING!

To really appreciate the absolute wonder of Bon Jovi you have to hear them live. This album is about as close as it comes to the real thing. This mix of old and new songs lets new fans know that Bon Jovi have more than just one album under their belt. As a true fan it fills the closest thing to a void that exists in a CD wallet full of Bon Jovi studio albums. I LOVE THIS ALBUM!

    One Wild Night is awesome!

This CD was the first Bon Jovi album I ever bought, and it instantly made me a fan! This live album just rocks! Every song sounds good, some of them sound better than the studio version. (Like Runaway). The album starts with It's My Life, and the live version is just as awesome as the original, it'll put you in a great mood as soon as you start listening to it. The next song is a classic, Livin' On A Prayer. I was in love with it as soon as I heard it. The beat and Jon's excellent singing make this song incredibly good! The live version of You Give Love A Bad Name isn't quite as good as the studio version, the studio version sounds more powerful. Still, it's a really good song. Keep The Faith is totally amazing, it's one of my favorite songs. Runaway is really surprising, it sounds a whole lot better than the studio version. So does In And Out Of Love. The last song is a new one, One Wild Night 2001. It's more upbeat and better than the original version. (From their previous album, Crush.) The rest of the songs (Wanted Dead Or Alive, Bad Medicine, Rockin' In The Free World, Someday I'll Be Saturday Night etc.) are also great. Overall, this CD is awesome, I recommend it to everyone!

    Great Songs... Too Many Bites!

Over 15 years, they recorded. Mixed it down to about 75 minutes. AND they couldn't keep the crowd noise constant to make it 'sound' like ONE NIGHT??? But that's my ONLY quibble. I just happen to hate live albums that fade in and fade out applause, ok? NOW that out of the way, this is one great collection. AND it spotlights the vocal talents, near rock-genious of one Jon BJ, who I didn't think could pull it off live (sorry never had the pleasure of actually attending a BJ show, and Jon sounds better here than in-studio-- trust me). Hightlight for me is ''Rockin' in the Free World'' done in the sweet almost pristine metal style the boys are famous for, and yet very nice addition to the Neil Young original. Also ''Dead or Alive'' despite the crowd singing (yes, I think the best live recordings are when songs are new, and you get more crowd reaction than punctuation, but I digress), shows the folky-edge of Bon Jovi. I only own one more BJ CD (''Slippery'' of course, was the first CD of music I ever bought, ok a late digital bloomer...) and think I should have waited for this collection. Much more than greatest hits, and more powerful vocals. You do gotta get used to a little overbearing in on one channel by Mr. Sambora's guitar, but hey Heather probably made him crank it up, so SHE could hear her man wail on stage... too! (Note: pun intended!). Pick this one up if you are new or old to the BJ/NJ sound; you won't be dissappointed.
