A fabulous and terrifying first person account of schizophrenia.
A fabulous and terrifying first person account of schizophrenia. Just the last section alone, in which O'Brien lays out the vocabulary of her illness (defining "operators," "things," and the like) is scary in and of itself. And what's especially amazing is that O'Brien was able to be cured. A wonderful book--great that is back in print finally.
