A review for the non-orchid people.
I didn't know a thing about orchids before I picked up this book. (probably a bit like Eric Hansen at the very beginning) This book is a witty, well-told story, and if you're just looking for something new to read, this is it. Have you ever seen the movie The Beach? Leo says, 'Everybody's trying to do something different, but they always end up doing the same damn thing.' Eric Hansen is one of those people who is about the closest to doing something different that I've ever seen.

Completely overrated
I love orchids, but I got bored in the middle of this book and couldn't manage to finish it. The first few chapters were very entertaining, but by the second half of the book, I felt like every chapter was the same. It's not often that I can't finish a book.

Lotsa Love, Too Much Lust & Government Lunacy
Great Book! Best $20 I ever spent if you don't count the hooker I had at the end of 16 weeks of Army Bootcamp. I am recommending this to all my customers.
