    Really Cute!

I wish I had know about this book when I was younger! It was such a cute story! It was a story about the not so typically beautiful princess and how life was for her. This story was sweet but not exactaly what I had expected. It was an extreamly easy read and was meant for someone in the age range of 8-12. I wish that there was a more elaborate version of this book for someone my age! Any younger girl who loves fairy tales will enjoy this charming story and it's ordinary princess! Anyone who loves this book will love Gail Carson Levine's small work of magic: The Fairy's Return.

    The Ordinary Princess

The Ordinary Princess is a charming fairy tale in none of the usual, expected ways. It provides the traditional cast of characters; however, their personalities and actions are what makes this story unique. The story provides an interesting look at what would happen if the princesses in fairy tales were, in fact, ordinary, with adventurous spirits and inquisitve minds.

A really good book for kids!

Its sorta like most fairy tales, but it does envolve something a bit uh 'unordinary'. It has to do with Princess Amethyst, whom on her christaining day had her powerful godmother give her the gift of being ordinary! Its a really good book for kids. One of the reasons I like it is because its unlike other fairy tales which mostly have those beautiful maidens or princesses. It gives children a value to their diffrentness, sorta like a small lesson in the book. It also seems to have a charm to it.
