    Interesting but not comprehensive

Although written well, failed to include our vineyard, Kathken Vineyards, located in west Salem. Been here since 1995 (longer than many vineyards included in this presentation) with award winning wines numerous years! Awarded one of top 25 vineyards of Oregon for past five years and two years running in Wine & Spirits magazine as one of top one hundred wines of world. Also, the only vineyard in Oregon that features live music every weekend of the summer for the past 8 years. I find it extremely ironic that we were sent a copy of this book and we were excluded from same.

best places to find Oregon wines!

This guide is the best resource I've seen for Oregon wineries, as well as nearby restaurants and lodging. Who knew there were so many wineries in Oregon! Very handy for finding wineries, tasting rooms, wine bars and shops as well as nicer but not necessarily expensive restaurants to complement any Oregon road trip.

An Essential Traveling Companion for Wine Touring

Like the best guidebooks I've used in my travels, this book feels like a necessity to take along on any trip (in Oregon). It's not just the wineries - although of course they've included tons of them - it's that it's a comprehensive guide to all the stuff that goes along with a good trip. I can use it to find a place to stay, good places to eat, interesting things to see and do... it's a great wine book, but it's also a valuable vacation book.
(A quick note on another review here: OK, your winery was inadvertently left out; that doesn't mean you have to pan the whole book and use your review to sell your own winery.)
I really like the writing style - it's really informative without reading like a brochure for each winery, and the little bits of interesting information add a lot to each description.
I just got back from a cycling tour in Southern Oregon, and this guide was all we needed for everything off the bike!
