    Inspiring Models of Origami Inspirations

I can proudly say that I have all the three books of this author! Like her first two books, this one also shows how to make some exciting and pretty looking models with very clear diagrams.

First section of the book gives several tips for better folding as well as mathematical information on models based on geometry. Second and third sections contain several diagrams for a variety of cubes. Remaining part of the book contains diagrams for decorative dodecahedra.

The models based on pentagons in this book are a new twist to modular origami. I love making the traditional lily (it looks so pretty and real) and the same made from a pentagon looks much better. And then there are 5 different flower dodecahedra made with pentagons. However, my favorite model from this book is 'Whipped Cream Star' which appears on the cover of the book. The simplicity of the unit of this model is quite amazing.

Some well known artists from different parts of the world also have contributed to this book. These models range from intricate geometric assembly such as 'Four Interlocked Triangular Prism' by Daniel Kwan to flower-type assembly of Dahlia by Tanya Vysochina.

In short, one more must have from Meenakshi Mukerji for anyone interested in Modular Origami.
