A memorable voice from the garden-
Eck and Winterrowd provide a memorable voice for gardeners and garden fans. Winterrowd's recent death makes the passages about gardens surviving their gardeners particularly touching. This series of short essays on a vast array of topics makes for an easy and enjoyable read. Eck and Winterrowd join Henry Mitchell and Allen Lacy in my little pantheon of modern writers for those interested in or active in gardening as an avocation. Was this review helpful?
