    Wonderful non-fiction book for children

This is a wonderful book that will not only educate children about the Solar System, but entertain them as they learn. Simon provides just enough information about each feature to wow a child, yet not so much information to risk overwhelming them. He uses simple sentence structure, makes his point and moves on to the next point. Children will also appreciate the large font that the book is written in. Included in the illustrations are exceptional photographs, as well as drawings and diagrams to further educate children about the Solar System. I highly recommend this book for lower elementary-aged children.

Mr. Simon has written a nice nonfiction book about our solar sys

Mr. Simon has written a nice nonfiction book about our solar system. He explains a lot of things, and taught me some new things, like why Pluto is considered a dwarf planet (this is part of the "updated" version of this book). I think that he explains things in a simple way that kids can understand. The pictures in the book are cool. I like that there is a glossary in the back. I wish some of the illustrations had captions on them. I think it is a great choice for an introduction to the solar system for kids.
*NOTE* I got a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
