The play focuses on the life of a town called Grover's Corners. The town is highly symblic of our lives and suggests ways we can improve our lives. The author Thornton Wilder lraves parts out of the play like wedding vows so that readers would place their own experiences into the play and would relate to it. The play shows that life can end anytime so use it wisely.
