If you're looking for romance, erotica, plot, character development, creative writing, look elsewhere because
this book has none of these.

I have read Ms. Black's other offerings and found several of them very enjoyable, but the BDSM themed
stories have gotten progressively harder to stomach. In a previous review I longed for a plot that didn't involve
someone trying to kill the female protagonist. Well, I got my wish. Unfortunately that tiresome plot twist was
replaced with a threesome relationship with two brothers simultaneously "making love" to the same girl,
if you consider using a knife and a lighter on a chained up woman to be good sex. I'm no prude; I just have taste.
This was beyond misogynistic. There was nothing sexy about any of it. Ms. Black's use of one particular word
to describe a part of the female body became notiecable (and decidedly unsexy) by page 2. I found myself
flipping forward as soon as anything sexual began; I just wanted to know how in the world it would end.
The only thing I enjoyed was the mention of characters from previous novels. Made me wish for more.

Overall I highly recommend staying AWAY from this book; save your ten bucks and buy something sexy not
an advertisement for violence, torture and abuse....ugh!

I am sorry, but this book just did not do anything for me. I love The Wicked Ties series, but this book Is a weak link in the series, and I pray that Theirs to Cherish does not end up being just like this book. This book was supposed to be Xander's story, and for me, it was everyone else's story but his. Xander felt like a secondary character in his own story. In reading the series, we all came to love Xander as a kind, loving, loyal, and funny playboy, and this book totally did not showcase Xander's personality. We understood he would make a chance, but where was any of Xander's personality???!! He didn't have to give up everything about himself. The book focused far too much on Javier and what he had lost. It barely focused on Xander and his feelings. Xander deserved someone who was going to be committed to him. I thought this book was going to be similar to the situation that Deke, Luc and Kimber had, but sadly, it was not, and I was greatly disappointed in this story. Javier, Xander and London fell deeply in love with each other after knowing each other for a day, that just makes no sense, and then after one week all problems were solved thanks to this woman. WTH???!!! The rest of the Wicked Ties gang was barely involved in the story, and with the plot written as it was, you would have expected to see Jack, Hunter, Logan (esp. since Xander and Logan are best friends), and Deke way more involved than they were. Heck, London is Alyssa's cousin and Alyssa was barely a part of the story. Thank goodness for the glimpses of Luc that we got. The story just didn't work for me. I'm sorry, but the ending was totally unreal, not to mention illegal and a bit twisted. I just hope I don't have to suffer through another one of these situations with Theirs to Cherish. Shayla Black is a much better writer than what was put out in this book. I am still waiting for Xander's story. The plot of this book could have been so much better, and London could still have been a savior to both brothers, but in a different manner for each brother. MY GOODNESS...THEY ARE BROTHERS FOR GOODNESS SAKES!!!
