Great start and more to come...
This is a great first chapter into the life of Lance Bass. This a great book for any NSYNC/Lance Bass. I couldn't put this book down. I wished it could have been longer, but that's ok because I know there will more from Lance in the future. I especially like the in-depth detail into Lance's space exploration days. Thank you Lance!!!

Bravo! Encore! *claps*
I loved reading this, I never wanted to put it down, but I just felt like I was Lance while reading it, and I'm glad that he cleared some stuff up for us fans, since I've been a fan since 1998, and I really cried while reading it, it's that touching. I SO wanted to reached out to hug him and tell him I'm sorry on what he went though for all that time. Anyone that is a fan of *NSYNC I recommend this book because Lance tells you want happened during those years on what he went through with the guys in *NSYNC.

Very Good Book
I thought this was a very good book. Lance tells you about some of the things happening behind the scenes with NSYNC. From how the band started all the way to the end of the band. It also showed you what Lance was going through with his personal life. It helps people to understand how difficult things can be in this world. I would easily recommend this book.

Read this in half a day
I was a big NSYNC fan and got to see them 6 times in person! Lance was always my favorite! I couldn't wait to read the book, though it was overpriced (25 dollars for 200 pages-should be $16!). It was an eye opening look at Lance's life (since he hardly ever got to get a word in). I feel bad for the boys of NSYNC in how Justin was favored over everyone, but I could see this coming from miles away-from when they first hit America in 1998! Not a shocker that he's a solo star. But, Lance seems like a very grounded, wise, smart individual and I hope to see more of him in the media in the future. As far as the 'juicy' details of NSYNC (drugs, sex with groupies, bad behavior), I guess we'll just have to wait for Behind The Music or E True Hollywood Story. But, a great read for any NSYNC fan! Love you Lance!

Lance Bass Fan
I really enjoyed reading this book. He opened up so much and I feel I know him better. There were some things in the book that really shocked me or I never knew about. If anyone is debating to get this book, I HIGHLY recommend it. I am still a huge fan of his.

Lance lays it on the line. Wonderfully.
Anyone who laughed at the girls screaming, sneered at how much money they were making, ever said, 'They're just singers and dancers', laughed at the 'singer' who wanted to go to space, and sneered at the People headline 'That's not news.' should read this book. I think the jokes would stop. Even I was surprised at the truth. Lance tells everything very matter if factly and sometimes painfully and doesn't dish any dirt. You have to admire him for that. This is the tale of his life mistakes and all. You see the dreams, the set-backs, the betrayals, the struggles and finally Lance breaking free to be freely himself. But through it all Lance had/ has his faith, humor, friends and even in the end his family. As so many peole have said you want to give Lance a big hug. What a life and he made it through. I think I'll go back and read it again.

I bought the book from B&N online and I was happy that it was shipped to me on time. It took me a couple hours to read the book and so many parts of it made me want to cry and give Lance a big hug. I've been a huge fan of his and of the groups since the very beginning and I was sad when they decided to call it quits. It's was finally good to read exactly what went on and how it all ended plus how he felt when his dreams of going into space were pretty much crushed and he realized he wasn't going. This book even though it was somewhat of a quick read really helped put into perspective the last year of the band as well Lance's struggle in coming out and how hard that was for him to come out to especially to his parents. I'm truly glad that he can finally just be who he is and be able to live his life the way he wants to. Lance if you read this. So many of your fans are extremely proud of you!

Idol
Lance Bass is one of my idols bc he proved that its ok 2 b urself. Also N*SYNC is one of the best boy bands ever. Well next to BACKSTREET BOYS! I also absolutely LOVE Ellen DeGeneres. You and Portia are perfect together. She has helped me get thru my own difficulties and taught me it doesnt matter who u r. Just as long as ur happy in ur own skin

An excellent read-if you're a fan of Lance or *NSync
I purchased Out of Sync as soon as I heard that Lance wrote a book. I used to be a huge fan of *NSync, and Lance was generally my favorite member. This book provides great insight into what it was like for him growing up, how he came to be in *NSync (and the stories that resulted), and how he handled being gay through all of it. The story of how, and even why he had to "come out of the closet" was very interesting, and sheds some light on the world of being a celebrity in a tabloid-driven world.

what a great story!
I think lance did a wonderful job with this book! it is an easy ready-i felt like he was personally telling me the story, i really felt as if i knew him for years. He explains his background, what really happened with nsyncs lawsuit, and the split of the group. he also tells of a few relationships he had, and his experiences with them, as well as experiences growing up and having a wonderful childhood! im extremely impressed-if you are a big fan or not, i highly recommend reading this book.

Wow.
I am a huge fan of Lance Bass and I would have never guessed that he was gay, let alone come out with it. I love NSYNC and I've been waiting for this book to come out ever since I heard about it. Thanks for writing it, Lance. I love ya.

Bass's Book is *NSYNC
I thoroughly enjoyed the autobiography Out of Sync by Lance Bass a member of the boy band *NSYNC. Bass lightly touches on his growing up in Laurel, Mississippi in a heavily religious family. The majority of the novel describes his experiences in the band *NSYNC along with his band mates: JC, Justin, Chris and Joey. He concludes the book by focusing on a childhood dream of going into space. In an interview Bass expresses the purpose for writing the novel as ¿ending a chapter in my life¿. I was surprised that Bass was very candid about his sexuality especially how difficult it was to tell the world and his band mates, whom he describes as his brothers. It gave me a new respect for the gentlemen. Bass¿s autobiography is almost as heart wrenching as Anthony Rapp¿s autobiography Without You. Although both novels describe two different sides of the music industry, they both give the reader a view into the lives of singers that the audience would not normally see. When you are a fan, sometimes you forget about the person inside.

A Good Read
A good read. It took me about 6 hours over 3 days finish the book. I particulary liked the back-ground on the family life. It is apparent his parents raised a fine young man. The parts about being a part of *NSYNC were very well presented, especially the parts about the trouble they had with Lou Pearlman. Unfortunately, this happens quite often to young people trying to get involved in show business. I would have liked to have had more info about his life since his coming out.

Every fan should read!
This was a great book. I have adored Lance and the other guys since the early days of 'NSync, and it's true what he says, they can do no wrong, and here is proof. Great insight into what actually happened between all the guys, especially how the band 'ended'. Very inspiring story about coming out, I don't know how he was so strong through everything. You're amazing Lance!

I have been a huge fan from the begining and was very excited to read this book. I was interested in the inside stories. The book was a great fast read. There were so many parts that made me laugh and cry. It was really nice to hear an honest truth about things that don't you don't ever get to hear about. I was very happy with the book. I felt like I really got to understand Lance as a person and feel for him throughout so many different times in his life. I highly recomend this book to any fan and anyone every wanting to know and understand Lance and/or anything about NSYNC. It's a refreshing piece of truth and reality.

This is the best autobiography I've ever read. Lance doesn't try to use big words, or awkward wording to make him seem smarter the whole thing just flows. It felt like I was actually with him, hearing the story, instead of reading it. I felt everything that he felt at the time, and I definitely saw why he was frustrated with NSYNC's breakup. Read it, you won't be disappointed!
