    Cast This Out

This book was awful. Poorly written and the plot was implausible. Ben is running around suffering from PTSD and no one notices? He decides to take his rich sister back to the crime scene located in a slum and gang infested streets? Walk her to the crime scene with no protection? Give me a break. Her fiance who claims to adore her, goes to work on his wedding day? Even though he knows he will not make the wedding? The shrink doesn't excuse herself as his doctor after he kisses her and she sees him naked? Please. Joan hasn't written a book in a while and this plot has more holes in it than swiss cheese. The first 30 pages were dull as dishwater trying to explain his step-brothers and sisters and I couldn't keep the family members straight. The characters are poorly developed and written. I'm casting this one "out".
