Outlining Your Novel offers great advice, but the book productio
Outlining Your Novel offers great advice, but the book production makes it a difficult read. For some reason, all apostrophes and quotation marks are left out. Strangely, commas, semi-colons and colons are intact. The information is good, the paper used is of good quality, the binding is OK but that one consistent--all the way through--error slows the reader's understanding. I bought this book because I'm well into my first fiction book, so I wanted to see what I had missed by doing the outlining only in my head. I've written nearly 50 non-fiction trade books and working methods are similar but enough different that any extra help is appreciated. I wish K.M. Weiland's publisher had been as competent as she is. Even the worst proofreader couldn't miss this many egregious errors. But, as noted, the book contains a wealth of worthwhile information.
