    A hard read in a bad way/

Some of his ideas, histories and links are interesting, but he has a terrible writing style that is very dull and repetitive. I had to read this for a history class, came into the assignment excited...I love to read and found the topic interesting and still couldn't finish the book.

    Boring....

I was assigned to read this book for school over the summer. I found the introduction very interesting and well written, but as I kept reading I found that my thoughts were starting to wander. This book just goes on and on about things most people don't notice and have taken for granted. Yes, we as people should taken notice to the subtle changes in our society, but this book just lists what we should be noticing. It is not thought provoking and the way the author presents his discoveries is just plain boring. He has not inspired me to see the magic that our world is filled with. I can see that there is magic out there through my own observations. I do not need to read a book filled with dull facts to show me that.
