    On the fence

Was pretty disapointed with the ending, unless there is a 2nd book that I'm not aware of. I enjoyed the diary format. But its a sad book on a sensitive subject. All in all its was an ok book.

What I was expecting and what I read were two completely different things. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it. I really did enjoy reading the book and it kept my attention and kept me wondering what in the hell was going on and what in the hell was the big secret. I'm not really sure what I was expecting exactly, but it was an enjoyable surprise.

The book is done in a diary format, not expecting that. However, it worked. It is the diary of the main character Jenna, a 15 soon to be 16 yr old girl that lives with her Uncle. Her parents passed away and her Uncle is her only remaining relative.

She ends up falling for a new student by the name of Scott. They start dating and everything seems to go along swimmingly at first. Then slowly Scott's depression starts rearing it's ugly head and gets in the way of their romance.

That's all I'm going to share with you. Like me, you have to pick up this one and experience it for yourself. It's not going to leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling of a fairy tale. However, it is still one hell of an interesting read.
