Very Imformative -- if you have PCOS, this book is for you!
This book has been part of a life style change for me, as well as my family and children. I was diagnosed with PCOS over a year ago and was not tuned into all the ways PCOS affects my life until I wanted to have another child. My gynocologist informed me that I needed to make changes to my diet and suggested "the PCOS diet book". I found this book was much more up to date as it was just released in November and felt that it would be more benefical to the things I was trying to change.
I bought this book in paperback and for my NOOK. The nook version is not a good cause you really need the paperback for shopping tools, meal suggestions, and to reference in a pinch. I started following this diet plan January 3rd and have lost 12 lbs. in one month - which is AWESOME!! I feel better, have a ton more energy, as well as just feeling better.
This book gives you meal ideas, suggestions, a shopping list, and helpful tips for you to be successful, not to mention explaining how a PCOS diagnosis really affects your body and life. I look foward to more weight loss and a better lifestyle for myself and my family. I have passed some tips on to my family members and friends for them to be healthy to so some of the tips can be used for everyone.

Great information for women with hormone issues!
I research a lotbecause medical doctors just can't seem to help me!! I have always had hormone issues and can't find a doctor with complete knowledge pertaining to my symptoms I've had going on 35 plus years. This book has excellent information regarding food and your hormones. I have solved some issues. If only this book was available sooner... I highly recommend it for any one having problems with your period or lack of, mood swings, hypoglycemia, and bloating!

PCOS since 2001
I was diagnosed with PCOS back in 2001 and back then there weren't enough books out about the syndrome in order to know how to care for myself. This book is really up to date with great info, and just changing my diet a little bit, and getting a little more movement in my day, I have lost 20 pounds in a month and a half... This book really helped me understand a lot about PCOS, even though there is still a ton that isn't know about it. I just with the way that the book was organized would have been different. To make it easier to reference when I have questions.

Very helpful and up to date information considering how old the books on this subject are at the public library. Great basic info and food and exercise menus.
