What I liked about this book is that it helped me to understand
What I liked about this book is that it helped me to understand how PCOS is affecting my body. I learned that many of my other health problems are related to my PCOS. That being said, I think the dietary aspect of the book is lacking and promotes some unhealthy habits, for example, it encourages using artificial sweeteners and says that you can drink as much diet soda as you want, I think that is extremely irresponsible because recent studies link 1 can of soda a day to an increased risk of diabetes whether it is diet soda or not. I think I am going to try the PCOS diet book or the South Beach Diet book to learn more about low GI diets.
