More errors than I could count

This book is helpful, but it's probably got more than 100 errors in it, such as A=(1/2)*(d1 + d2) for area of rhombus with diagonals d1 and d2. Should be d1*d2. The units don't even work out right. The proofreader should be shot, if there even was one. This is just one example of many. If stuff like that doesn't throw you, then it's palatable. Otherwise, I thought the book did a good job preparing me for the GACE.

The typesetting is one of the main problems, because you know it's hard to get all the math symbols right (i.e. greek symbols, exponents, etc..) And it's obvious that no one checked to make sure that the finished product was like the original.

Secondly, I paid extra for the book with a CD in it, thinking there were 2 additional tests on it. But, those tests were identical to the ones in the book. Buyer beware.

I ended up buying Cliffs Test Prep for Praxis too. It had many typos too. I think I liked it better because it gave some specific instructions on using the TI-84 calculator, which was new to me.

I didn't see any GACE books before I bought these. These were adequate, but I suspect the GACE books might be better, if anything.

    WORST BOOK EVER

Very poorly written. I found over 30 math and typographical errors and found that the questions were much more basic than what is asked on the actual Praxis test. BUY ANOTHER BOOK!!!
